about

This song was written back in '93 by Loney Childress.

It was one of our first serious originals and it became kind of our theme song. This was written during a time where all that could be found on the radio was country and R & B. It still applies a little today, but it really applied back then.

lyrics

VERSE1
All I do is sit and watch tv oh but I didn't used to
oh I used to have a much better thing to do.
I'd listen to it while I was at home and on the way to school
back then it was good, it didn't have to be so cool. I wanna know

CHORUS
What's Wrong with the Radio
I wish someone would let me know,
Tell me what's wrong with the radio
Don't they play any of my songs anymore? Anymore.

VERSE2
All my tapes are getting worn out and CD's are so expensive,
Oh tell me, is this anyway we all should live?
Now I'm making music of my own, has it come to this?
oh those sweet old days are something I will really miss. I gotta know

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Well I got metal coming out my ears I got rhythm coming out of my pants
Who ever thought that a couple of years would take the singing out of sing and dance
Country bars, steel guitars, making me sick. Now adays there's too much flash.
My achin' soul needs some rock'n'roll or I'm really gonna kick some......

VERSE3
Now I'm making music of my own, has it come to this?
oh those sweet old days are something I will really miss. I gotta know

CHORUS
anymore, anymore
